Eligibility Criteria

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or professional program in the United States. This includes accredited community college students as well as high school seniors and students who possess a GED who have been accepted to or are enrolled in an accredited program.
  • Dedicated to the pursuit of justice, and be able to demonstrate this commitment in their essay.
  • Must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 or above.

Essay Prompt & Questions

Respond to the following questions in an essay of 1,000 words or less:

  1. Reflecting on our firm’s acronym S.E.R.V.I.C.E (Synergy, Empathy, Respect, Value, Inclusion, Community, Excellence), describe a situation in your life or academic career where you actively embodied one or more of these principles. How did this experience shape your perspective on the role of law in society and your own aspirations within the field of law?
  1. Legal professionals often have the opportunity to create substantial impacts in their communities. If you were awarded this scholarship, how would you use your legal education to contribute positively to your community, and how would this align with the principles of S.E.R.V.I.C.E?
